Hi Guys,

I'm having a problem with the small runway that crosses the main one, when I taxi or use this runway the graphics keep flashing and changing textures or colours ahead of the aircraft when moving, everything else is fine!

I will look into what i can do to fix it, i'm guessing this is when used with Orbx.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your quick reply, yes I am using Orbx as you surmised, and also when loading flight in FSX, it takes a lot longer to load than normal slowing down at about 75%, otherwise brilliant addon as usual...

1. Download  EGPE_ADEX_PW.zip   3.09KB   629 downloads

2. extract and overwrite the file here "{fsx/p3d}\SIM720\Airports\SIM720_EGPE\Scenery\"

3. report back

Just downloaded and unzipped as requested, into FSX, no luck I'm afraid, problem still exists for me!

This is a weird one, i can't reproduce on my work machine but can on my laptop and the fix worked but another staff member now has the same problem and the fix doesn't work!

Do you have any other addon's (mesh, airports etc) so i can hopefully narrow it down.

Hi Paul,

Only addons, Orbx Scotland and FTX Global plus Pilots FS Global Mesh, that's it! No other airport addons!

 

Any how mate, don't lose any sleep over this!, I can live with it! Just go and have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the holiday, and best wishes to all the guys at Sim720...

PS to above, I did have Scotflght installed, but after some conflicts with your Oban scenery I uninstalled it.

As you have global and Scotland installed what do you set FTX Central to?

Hi Paul,

 

Flying in UK anywhere, I always set FTX Central to Europe Region, I never fly Global when in UK, always use regions.

Ok do you have an entry for "Pilots FS Global Mesh" in your scenery library when your region is set to Europe? If so can you try unticking it and see if the runway still flashes

There are 8 FS Global Regions in library, unchecked Europe region, but problem still exits, runway still flashing!
