Hi there,

First of all, let me congratulate you on some wonderful scenery!!

It's some of the best I've seen for FSX/P3D; so a big thank you to you all for making Scotland an even better place.

Before I go off to fly some more though; I was wondering if you could help me with something.

I seem to be experiencing a wee problem (software related, rather than physical) with the runway at Inverness.

This is the problem:

I have Orbx Scotland installed with the latest patch and libraries; oh and it's in P3D.

Any ideas chaps?

Cheers

Jimbo:)

Hi,

can you try this for me

1. Download Attached File  EGPE_ADEX_PW.zip   3.09KB   651 downloads

2. extract and overwrite the file here "{fsx/p3d}\SIM720\Airports\SIM720_EGPE\Scenery\"

3. report back

Paul

Hello there Jimbo, merry Christmas by the way! :D

I don't have any Sim720 products yet (that WILL change soon) nor ORBX Scotland, but I do wonder if there is a conflict going on between Sim 720 Inverness and ORBX Scotland?

Have you had a look inside of your ORBX installation folder in your P3D, and see if there are any EGPE bgl or cvx files, within your ORBX scenery file? It's my guess that there maybe some kind of confliction?

Love to know if you solve the problem Jimbo.

regards

Martin

EDIT....

Darn!! Just as I typed this, Paul jumps in with a suggestion (just my luck)! :P

Barry, do we win any consolation prizes for being losers? :P

Jimbo - glad Pauls fix worked for you. I really do need to get some Sim 720 products, so I can get better judgement in situations like this. Anyway, you're up and running now, so enjoy mate! ;)

Martin

Martin, that's a good thought, if I run a competition for the worst solution, I maybe able to be first for a change lol.

I permanently have a rain cloud over me, and blues music playing in my head!! :P

Anyway, have a drink - it's Christmas!! I'm getting some down my neck, but this bloody proverbial rain cloud above me, keeps watering down my drinks!! :D

all the best

Martin

Paul,

Sorry I have this same problem.  I tried the file that you attached above and no real improvement.  I will try it again later and get some screen shots to add.

Also I do have of course ORBX Scotland, and I am running FTX Central set to Europe.
