Don't take any of this in a political way, I'm trying to understand the relationship between Sim720 and Orbx and John Venema?

Is anyone at the liberty to discuss "differences of philosophy" and what the specifically means?  Is that difference over "object flow" and "people flow" support for other scenery packages (MSE) or are they more about revenue?

Again, not trying to stir up any trouble and PM me if this is a sensitive topic.  Really am just curious (recent interview with John, brought out this curiosity) because both Sim720 and Orbx have excellent airports so not sure why they aren't under the same umbrella?

Cheers, Rob.

Rob.

SIM720 is a separate company that contracted with ORBX to produce scenery, they made several of the European airports and regions.

Hi Rob, no problem with the question, don't worry we do not do politics. Yes Bruce is spot on. We were contracted by Orbx to develop specific regions and we also did some UK airports for them.
With regards to the introduction of animations, we have been asked in the forums for people movement to be added into our developments. We have created our own animations using 3d max and incorporated some this recent release. It is not intended as revenue creation, but that would be good, it's more our response to requests.
For clarity / confirmation SIM720 is limited company with its own shareholders.

Is John still active or involved in Sim720?  (shareholder?)

It certainly seems like those that produce airports are pretty careful to not step on each other's toes ... a good process for a small market.

Thanks for the details, much appreciated.

Cheers, Rob.

P.S. Keep those airports flowing!

Rob.

We only have a support role on certain products as contracted.
