I've installed and unistalled KCRQm a couple times hoping to make it usable. But with an I7 overclocked to 4.3Ghz and a GTX-970 in Win 10  I still only get about 6 fps when, with the same settings and KCRQ uninstalled, I get 30+.

Yes I made sure ORBX SoCal is selected, yes I tried turning all options off.

Suggestions?

Hi,

A few questions for you

1. What other addons are you using?

2. What aircraft are you using?

3. What version (fsx/p3d)?

4. What do you have your autogen setting on?

I use an I7 at 3.5Ghz with a GTX680 (windows 7) and I easily get 30+ frames so something is causing the problem somewhere.

Thanks

Paul

Other add-ons: AS16, REX Texture Direct with Softclouds, ORBX SoCal, TrackIR

Flying Jahn/Visser C-47V3

FSX Gold (boxed Acceeleration IOW).

AUTOGEN normal

In any event, everything is set the same wiith and without KCRQ, they're constants in the framerate equation.

Hi,

Thanks for that, yes i realise everything should be constance but somewhere something is conflicting on your machine and causing the framerate lose.

You said above that turning the options off in our control panel makes no difference, on my machine when i turn them off i get between 10 and 20 frames more depending where im looking at. This would indicate something is corrupt or not installed correctly.

Can you go to "{fsx}\SIM720\Airports\" and right click and select properties on "SIM720_KCRQ" folder and let me know how many files and what size it is please

Can you also do a search on your whole fsx folder for "kcrq" and let me know if it finds any files that are not in the sim720 folder.

Thanks

Paul

Edit: Due to no response in over a month i have marked as resolved
