Just bought it and installed the scene in an Orbx SCO framework under DX10.

It is well integrated which is nice, and the location is cool. No fps impact whatsoever, and the overall airport is well made, I will buy your Icelandic and UK anounced upcoming airports.

Some minor points:

1. the satellite picture ground coverage could be bigger, (not asking fro x10, but x3 would be similar to an Orbx airport)

2. a couple of POI  nearby would be great to fly to  (ruins? churches? factory? bridge? whatever).

3. noticed a bit of (minor) flikering on some of the autogen houses textures (no biggy)

4. a couple of simple animations would have been nice, but not necessary.

5. still not convinced why such "modest" airport need a specific tree autogen, I foresee a maintenance nigthmare in the shared files.

Hi,

Glad you like the airport.

I will try and answer your minor points below

1. Oban has the same size PR area as any of the EU airports released by Orbx. Unfortunately it all comes down to cost and licensing agreements which are very expensive :(

2. The bridge is a custom model already

3. Noted will look at it.

4. What sort of animations would you like to see in the future? (no promises)

5. The trees are not just for this airport they are for all our future products as well.

Paul

Etien, many thanks for the feedback. All points are noted. Please keep your thoughts coming and we will try to ensure we get it right to enhance your experience of our products. Re the POI we will look to see what can be done. Thanks for the support.

Hi, not too good on screenshots... Will try to post one.

For the animations,  'local' is always more fun.  Donno, a big fishing boat passing by with its trail of smoke and seagulls ?
