EGPE - Inverness issue P3Dv3 - White/grey boxes

Resolved

Hi Paul,

Issue solved. It seems that it wasn't liking the "Default" option set in the control panel. I have selected "Orbx Scotland" and this problem has now gone even though I don't have Orbx Scotland installed. I use FTX Global with UTX Europe v2.0 on top.

Thanks for the quick reply.

All,

I have just installed Inverness into P3Dv3 and I am now seeing the ground being replaced with a white/grey patch literally everywhere I move at the airport. The picture below shows the problem. Another one of my friends has just purchased the scenery and is also having the same problem. We have never had any previous Sim720 scenery installed on both machines. Does anybody know what the problem is here and how to fix it?

Hi,

Its looks like a terrain problem,

1. are you running any terrain addons?

2. what other addons are you using?

3. Have you set the control panel to match the ground correctly (i.e to default for default or Orbx if using Orbx)

4. Do you have the terrain settings set to either 5 or 10 meters

Good to know, Its possible something in UTX Europe but at least the Orbx option fixes it and actually using the Orbx option the ground colours should match better against global.
